Amy completed her undergraduate music degree at Royal Holloway, University of London where she specialised in composing. Amy is currently freelancing as a professional musician and teacher in London, tutoring privately in piano and clarinet.
As piano accompanist, Amy regularly accompanies music exams in London and is willing to travel for rehearsals / exam at an additional cost.
Amy runs her own company 'ActuallyAmy Songwriting' delivering songwriting workshops to young people, designed to develop their creative and expressive skills through the medium of song. Established with the support of The Prince's Trust, the sessions aim to motivate, empower and inspire young people to express their feelings in a fun, creative way. Songs can be written on a range of themes to help young people express themselves in an innovative way.
Passionate about helping each pupil reach his or her potential, Amy strives to make her sessions fun and inspiring. Whether pupils want to work through the exam system, or simply play for pleasure, lessons or songwriting sessions are tailored to suit their needs.
